Scenes From The Weekend And A Day Off!

Happy Monday friends! Sorry for my extra good mood and enthusiasm this Monday but I have off today after working an INSANE weekend. Work on Saturday and Sunday was nonstop and left me needing a day off day more then ever! Other then having a crazy few days of work, the weekend was great and I got to spend a lot of time with friends! Here's a few pictures from the weekend and my great day off so far!

Friday happy hour with friends!

Happy hour continued into the night, probably why I was feeling less then stellar at work on Saturday

Pretty flowers found on my run when I got off work- love the colors!

Meeting friends at a brewery Saturday evening and using my favorite purple and gold koozie! Anyone else use koozies religiously? I always have at least one with me and people in RVA seemed to think its the weirdest thing. This was taken at Hardywood, actually my second weekend in a row there, obsession much? If you live in the Richmond area, I highly suggest you check this place out, they have great beers and live music and food carts on Saturdays!

A few of the nurses I work with!

This morning I had a great run around Maymont Park and the pond- it was absolutely beautiful out!

Here was my distance and time. Not too bad but definitely needs improving before my 10k in a few weeks!

Over the weekend I also got a Easter care package, inside were these carrots. Oh grandmas.

However, cut up and with hummus, they made the perfect light lunch today!

As for the rest of the day I plan to hit up kickboxing and make a yummy dinner. Oh and I did laundry today- fresh sheets and towels to start the week! Is there anything better then fresh sheets on your bed?  I think not and I can't wait to crawl in mine later.

How did you spend your Easter weekend?

Yours truly,

I totally get the koozie thing! My fiance and I both keep one in our cars!

I run around the pond near Maymont too, one of my favorite spots! Have you ever run by the James River? And I am so excited for the Monument 10k, it should be a fun race!
