Travel Recommendations Needed- Asheville!

Happy Tuesday friends! Today's post I am asking for some help in planning a upcoming trip to Asheville, NC! I can't believe I have never been but decided enough was enough after hearing what a neat place to visit it is. My visit will just be a short weekend one but I can't wait for the getaway nonetheless. Oh and did I mention that I will be taking this getaway with my "manfriend"? That's another new development since my last posting before Thanksgiving. At this time I will not be going into the details as I would prefer to keep that aspect of my personal life out of the blog for now. We will refer to him as T and we have been dating for a little bit now.

I have a list of things as options for our trip but none are set in stone or anything we are dying to do. We thought about getting in a hike or two, exploring a few of the breweries, and getting in some yummy meals. I would love to know of any good restaurants or places to grab drinks that you would recommend!

Also, The Biltmore... is this something we most definitely should make time to do or something we should put off until another trip down the road?

Thanks y'all!
Yours truly,
Emily Ann

The Biltmore is a must-see ! They also have an on-site winery and the grounds are gorgeous. You won't be disappointed.

Asheville is amazing, you'll love it! Grab a drink at the Grove Park Inn for sunset (they also have great restaurants), Corner Kitchen is really good too (by Biltmore). If you like sweets, go to French Broad Chocolate Lounge :)

Biltmore is a must! Restaurants: Table, Curate, Storm Rhum Bar, Farm Burger, and White Duck Taco Shop. Drinks: Lex 18, Thirsty Monk, Barley's. Breweries: Wicked Weed, Sierra Nevada (great food as well), Lexington Ave (LAB), Asheville Brewing Co. Honestly just about anywhere downtown you want to eat will be amazing, but make sure to get reservations for the weekend. Most places fill up quickly. Hope you enjoy your time in Asheville!

Asheville is on our must visit list! I have a best girlfriend that moved their in high school and her parents still live there. I am happy to ask her for recommendations for you! As for Biltmore, from everything I've heard, I think you have to go! It's America's castle! I think there's a vineyard there too, which would be fun!
