Happy Friday friends! I apologize for dropping the ball on posting this week, it was a busy one and I am looking at a busy weekend ahead. This weekend I am heading to Greenville to celebrate one of my good friends wedding showers and will be staying the night for some girl time and catching up. I can't wait to celebrate the bride to be as well as be back in my college town. Here are this week's links and finds...

/ Tonight will be a low key dinner at home and movie night. We are going to make homemade pizza and I am thinking these two recipes [ one & two]  will be making a debut. Any recs for a good redbox?

/ Trader Joes is my weekly grocery stop, from their flowers to their frozen food selection, it's by far my favorite grocery store. Check out this list of favorites and things to try next time you stop by. 

/ I have an unhealthy obsession with Fixer Upper and anything related to Joanna and Chip Gaines. Anyone else? 

/ Old Navy has so many cute things for the spring, I am love this top, these sandals, and this dress.

Weekend

Another week in the books and this girl is not sad about it. It has been miserably cold here this week and I am itching for some warmer weather days hopefully to come soon. On tap for this weekend includes a few last minute Valentines errands, a few gym sessions, and catching up on shows/relaxing. Anyone catch Scandal or Greys last night? I saved to watch this weekend and can't wait to watch both. Here's this week's assortment of finds...

// I am a candle lover, it is rare to find me at home without at least 1 candle burning. The only downside is, I tend to go through candles pretty quickly, Enter- this guide for the best candles under $35. 

// Now that I am eating meat again, I am slowly trying more and more recipes that involve different meats. Chicken is the only one I haven't ventured to yet but I am thinking this recipe could change that. 

// Nordstrom is currently having their Winter Clearance sale which is a good time to get some things you may have had your eye on. I wouldn't mind if these or this arrived at my door. 

// If my future house has the curb appeal of this one, I will be a happy girl. 

// Truth and something I am 100% guilty of.

Q & A Time

Blogger Q &A's are my favorite. I love getting to a know bloggers past what you see on your computer/ipad/phone. I've made a ton of blog friends since starting the blogging journey and most have started from a comment to what turned into an email thread to what turned it to feeling like I know some of these girls personally. A few weeks ago I was reading one of my favorite blogs, Cupcake and Cashmere and saw this fun Q&A and decided to play along and share.

Tuesday Things/ Photo Catch Up

Happy Tuesday friends. I am officially back at work after a great weekend away spent with lots of family and relaxing. Today's post includes a bit of a photo collection of what I have been up to lately...

Excuse the horrible iphone pictures but last we week we tried out Blue Apron for the first time and absolutely loved it. This was out first meal and it was amazing. It was super easy to make from start to finish and only took 30 minutes to make. We saved the recipe card to make it again and I can't wait. 

Another not so great iphone picture but our second meal was a recipe for "italian grinders" aka a cheese steak. Unfortunately this recipe didn't turn out the greatest due to our bread being moldy and a cheese sauce malfunction but in the end we improvised and everything tasted good. 

Manfriend and I fitting in with the locals, camo hats for all. 

An outfit favorite as of lately.

Weekend

Thank heavens we made it to Friday. Sorry for the lack of posting this week, I had every intention of posting everyday until my scheduler went haywire and posted everything as drafts... not ideal. From that to countless work meetings, not sleeping the greatest, I am over this week. This weekend I am heading to home with the manfriend to meet his family. I am looking forward to relaxing, getting in some sights, and just enjoying their company. Here's this weeks finds...

Thank the lawd Friday is finally here. I can't wait to sleep in, catch up on shows, actually make it to the gym, and relax. This week was long and I am so glad the snow and icy is finally melting and we have had some warmer temps around here! Another plan for this weekend- write and schedule posts for next week... amen. // I have been spending the past few days looking for a new weekender bag and I think I have finally found the perfect one. 

// Anyone else challenged when it comes to a curling iron? I know wands are the new thing but with my long thick hair a curling iron really works best. This article did a great job of working through the process and what products to use for all different hair types.

// This is the ultimate comfy bra and panty. If you have yet to try this brand, do so, you will not regret it!

// These Karen Walker sunnies have been floating around the blog world for quiet some time. While they are pretty expensive, I have heard rave reviews and think they are stunning.
