Thoughts to start the week right...

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great and relaxing weekend! Tonight's post is a little short but I promise to include everything about my lovely wedding weekend in tomorrow's post!

Tonight I will leave you with some thoughts to get your week started right!

Finally Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! What a week! Working 12-10 hour shifts is not my idea of a fun way to spend the week, but thank goodness it was cut short by a flight to PA for my cousins wedding! That's right, I'm in the city of brotherly of love, home of the Eagles and Phillies! Woooooo! This weekend my cousin Jen will be marrying Jack, a great guy she has been dating for sooo long! I am super excited and definitely looking forward to spending time with my family!

Last night my dad picked my up from the airport and took me to a great little Italian cafe! A lot of restaurants throughout PA and NJ are BYOB, which is in my opinion... awesome! We picked up a bottle of this wine to have with dinner and it was great!

I'm sometimes a little leery when it comes to reds but this one was a blend of a Zinfandel, Cab, and Merlot.

Next we had salads, I chose mixed greens with sun dried tomatoes and gorgonzola cheese

For dinner I had pasta with scallops, shrimp, spinach, and tomatoes...it was amazing.

For dessert we had my favorite dessert of all time... tiramisu

This was such an amazing dinner but I loved it because I only had a little bit of everything and had a ton of leftovers!

Today will be spent getting ready for the wedding and going to the rehearsal dinner! Coming up north, I was totally not prepared for the colder weather and am a little worried about the dresses I bought! I haven't been to a wedding in so long, I wasn't sure what to wear for a fall wedding! Luckily I have I'm staying with my 4 girl cousins so I'm sure I will manage.

I will try to post tomorrow but if not I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Also today I think I am going to try and get an airbrush tan...does anyone know how long those last or have any advice?

While I was away... I missed pinterest!

Being without a laptop was absolutely no fun and extremely stressing, not only because it was hard for me to complete assignments but also because I couldn't relax and just have "me" time...aka pinterest time. The below items are things that I have come across since having a laptop again that I wanted to share! While it is all random, I'm sure everyone can sure in my excitement over scouring through pinterest to find new pins.

I'm determined to try the high socks/boots look asap.

I am a lover of all cowboy boots but these tribal inspired ones are absolutely amazing.

A satchel and lace? perfect.

Spray painted coffee beans to use as a vase or center piece filler

LOVE the idea of using a tea cup and saucer as a light!

Suitcase made into a vanity cabinet.

Love this vintgae painting! It would be super cute in a bathroom or closet.

I don't care how old he is...he is simply handsome.

This will be my next craft for sure.

Guess who's back!

Hey Y'all! I bet you thought I died and fell off the face of the earth! I promise you I did not but I just got a new laptop today! I have been going nuts without posting and catching up on blogs! Not to mention being without facebook, twitter and most important.. PINTEREST! I am so excited I have a computer again and can start full force with blogging again!

Where to even begin since I posted last...

I decided to go to Greenville for ECU's homecoming and Halloween. I had an amazing amazing time and am so glad I went. Being away from my friends, even if their just 4 hours away... is miserable!

I became single! I'm not sure how I feel about sharing personal details on the blog but I will say that I am happy and doing great!

Work/ internship is stressing me out beyond belief! I could not be happier doing what I'm doing but completing an unpaid internship is one of the hardest thing I have ever done.

I am going out of town AGAIN this weekend for my cousins wedding! I'm so excited to see my family and obviously weddings are a great time but I am dreading coming back in town on Sunday and playing catch up!

I hope everyone has been having a great week and I CANT wait to post again tomorrow!

Thoughts of Thursday...

Horray Horray its almsot Friday! I dont know about anyone else but this week is kicking my butt and I'm totally looking forward to tomorrow! However my weekend plans are still very much up in the air. After being out of town last weekend and having a wedding next weekend I was really looking forward to just relaxing and staying in town this weekend. This weekend happens to be ECU's homecoming and while I love my Pirates and would love to see my friends... I am just not sure I am up for a weekend of going out and being exhausted on Monday.  D. also mentioned that we could go to Charleston for the weekend. Who turns down a weekend in Charleston?...possibly this girl. Am I being a boring old lady?

Today at work was our second day on Haunted Theatre and I was interviewed by the news! It was very exciting to watch myself on the 5'o clock news!

I am feeling a shopping craving coming on and am trying to hold out for as long as possible but it didn't help getting an email today from the Banana Republic Factory store telling me almost everything is up to 70% off.

Im currently watching the Rachel Zoe show... obsessed. Im convinced her baby is going to be the most stylish baby ever.

Im very excited about Greys tonight! Hoping I can catch on since I wasn't paying attention for last week's episode due to watching Hocus Pocus.

What I'm Loving Wednesday- Bedroom Edition!

When I eventually have a house of my own the one room I can not wait to decorate is my bedroom. Love the kitchen, love the living room, but the bedroom is the one place you can go to lay down, relax, and have a little  "you" time.
